Shipping is, unfortunately, NOT free. We proudly ship with the United States Postal Service. However, we offer free local delivery for purchases with a sub-total of $50.00 or more and within a 30 mile radius from our location in Hollywood, Florida.

We do currently offer complimentarygift wrap for all our books AND/OR the option to turn your gift of a book into a "gift (book) basket." The reusable pom-pom canvas box comfortably holds 1-5 books with a plushie. That said, the signature pom-pom canvas box, cellophane, gift bow and gift card are complimentary!
Please be advised: due to size, only one plush animal or doll is permitted per one (1) signature pom-pom canvas box!
However, custom "rope" baskets (shown here) are available! And can accomodate larger orders.
Absolutely! The gift wrap you select is wrapped with twine and a pom-pom bow. Our complimentary note card and envelope can include any message you would like.
The color of the "Butterfly" may change depending on the occasion selected.
We proudly ship with the United States Postal Service to the 48 contiguous states. As such, we are limited by the size of our book basket(s). Shipping for a custom, larger sized book basket outside our standard size of 16" will need to be individually quoted.
You can comfortably fit 1-5 books in our "signature" pom-pom canvas box (including a plush animal).

We proudly ship with the United State Postal Service ("USPS") for all our shipping, and the weight of your package is an important factor in determining the postage price you pay. Like most internet sites, your shipping rate will be calculated when you check out.
Yes. Once your order has shipped, you will receive a tracking number and confirmation email and/or text linked to the United Staes Postal Service ("USPS") portal. Your tracking number allows you to follow its package on its journey!
Our signature canvas box is 10.25" x 6.25" x 7.5", and made from 100% cotton canvas. It was specifically selected as a natural alternative to a paper or a plastic gift box. This reusable container is hand sewn and reinforced with a basket box bench (corrugated board) to make it more sturdy. As with many handmade natural products, color and size may vary slightly.
Only the front of the box has pom-poms. Usually five (5) pom-poms.
Because hardcover books can oftentimes average 12" or more in height, we've found that the total height of a book basket can average 16". On occasion, publisher's will opt for an irregular width for a book's design, and it may require us to turn the book on its side. However, this usually does not affect the overall look of the book basket.
Unfortunately, due to the high cost of shipping and the inability to guarantee returns, we do NOT ship to Alaska, Hawaii or internationally.

To return an item or order, please contact a member of our Customer Service Team at 1-800-212-2671 or email us at help@savannahbooks.com.
If a book basket is unopened and is returned to us new i.e., in its original packaging (that is: canvas box, book, plush animal or doll (with tags still attached), is still enclosed by cellophane with gift bow) within 10 business days of delivery, we will offer a store credit for your total order total less our costs for shipping and handling each way.
However, if a book basket is opened, to ensure that you are being sold new, clean product, all sales on candy and plush (stuffed animals, puppets, etc) are final and cannot be returned or exchanged.
If the order has NOT been shipped, we will certainly cancel your order. However, an order cannot be cancelled once it has been shipped. If you decide to cancel after shipment, our standard return policy applies. You will have 10 business days to return the book or unopened book basket in its original packaging. See standard return policy (above) for details.
For items that shipped for free, all our shipping costs will be deducted from your store credit.
If a product arrives damaged, please notify us within calendar days via help@savannahbooks.com. We would be happy to send you a replacement as soon as possible. Unfortunately, on occasion, missing items may have to be substituted if no longer available.
On occasion, if an item needs to be replaced (i.e., due to damage and/or missing), and the item is no longer available, we will contact you to select an item of equal or greater value.
who is Savannah Books?
SAVANNAH BOOKS is an online children's bookstore and pop-up shop (suspended temporarily due to COVID-19) that carries a thoughtfully curated selection of children's books and gifts.
Located in Hollywood, Florida, we also specialize in creating memorable "book baskets" for any occasion.
Our mission is to promote literacy, the love of books and art to (and for) the children of the world.
Affectionately named after the Queen's Park Savannah located in Trinidad and Tobago (the founder’s native country), Savannah Books seeks to capture the inclusive spirit and vibrancy of the national treasure known locally as “the Savannah.”
Also, like any park or grand savannah, Savannah Books seeks to bring together and introduce our young readers to the world around them through art and the retelling of a beautiful story.
Savannah Books is proudly located in Hollywood, Florida. We are an online and pop-up bookstore. However, due to COVID-19 and the cancellation of many local events, we are focussing our efforts online through our thoughtfully curated books and baskets.
Because we are a children's bookstore, safety is foremost in our minds. We are using this opportunity to re-vamp our pop-up so that it surpasses safety and health requirements.
Though we actively source our books and products, authors and companies who wish to work with us are welcome to contact us at collaborate@savannahbooks.com
for consideration. We are a children's book store (baby to age 12 only), so packaging, etc., must meet all standard public safety standards and be aesthetically pleasing.
As a small business, we do realize that sending samples can become very expensive, so please email us first. Don't forget to include your wholesale price lists and contact information!
